How Does Search Engine Optimization Work?
When we start talking about how SEO works we should first define what SEO is.
SEO consists of ongoing & continual changes to a person or companies website with researched keyword rich, quality content and links, both on your site and off.
When you make these ongoing and continual changes to your website the search engine spiders are reading it. The more you make changes, add new content, use correct keyword placement, set up a strong inner linking structure and make your site more user friendly the more often the search engine spiders come back.
When you have researched your keywords and implemented them correctly into your site the search engine spiders see this and essentially give your site a value based on how well you optimize your site. I have to be honest though, there are over 200 ranking factors that Google alone looks at to determine whether or not your site is relevant. So one thing is not going to make or break you.
However, doing everything you can to fully optimize your website will keep the search engine spiders coming back time and again thus increasing your rankings and making it easier for people in your industry to find you.
In a nut shell that’s how SEO works.
